TOUR JUNE '08 Seattle always had an enormous output on cutting-edge bands. Looking back over the last decade outstanding artists like Botch, The Murder City Devils, Trial, The Briefs, Waxwing, These Arms Are Snakes, The Blood Brothers or Pretty Girly Make Graves come up to my mind. After most of them called it quits quite some time ago and seemingly left an enormous gap, from the ashes of these bands new projects arose that set new patterns for the music scene. One of the promising names this time is Jaguar Love, a three-piece consisting of Johnny Whitney (The Blood Brothers, Neon Blonde), Cody Votolato (The Blood Brothers, Waxwing) and Jay Clark (Pretty Girls Make Graves). Playing weird, high energy and arty rock music the band is strongly connected to Johnny’s fashion company Crystal City Clothing, which is responsible for all the Jaguar Love designs. Before Jaguar Love's debut full-length 'Take Me To The Sea' will hit stores on August 19th, the folks come over to mainland Europe to play festival shows as well as few smaller venues. Right now we've only heard a few demo songs off their myspace site and can't wait to hold the full-length in our hands.
